Qwen3.7-Max enters a Qoder limited-time offer: requests, discounts, and agent-coding costs

Alibaba Cloud updated Qoder's Qwen3.7-Max offer with 200 free daily model requests and a 50% discount; requests are not the same as conversations or completed agent tasks.

On July 22, 2026, Alibaba Cloud updated the Qwen3.7-Max limited-time offer page for the Qoder CN series. The update is not a new model launch. It clarifies the access and billing terms: all users can receive 200 free model requests per day in QoderWork and Qoder CLI, with the offer currently scheduled to end at 23:59:59 Beijing time on July 31.

The page also keeps a 50% discount for Qwen3.7-Max and lists Community, Pro Trial, Pro, and Teams users as potentially eligible. Users must update an applicable product, sign in, and select Qwen3.7-Max; the offer is applied automatically. Actual eligibility, region, and account status should still be checked against the product interface and current terms.

For an agent workflow, the easy-to-miss detail is that a request is not a conversation or a completed task. Alibaba Cloud's FAQ uses the example of finding three competitors and writing a comparison report, noting that a complex task may consume separate model requests for planning, search, reading, and writing. Two hundred daily requests therefore does not mean two hundred complete tasks.

Qoder describes Qwen3.7-Max as designed for agent scenarios and claims improvements in long-context reasoning, cross-file code understanding, and complex engineering execution. Those are provider product descriptions. This article does not treat the Code Arena ranking or model comparisons as independent performance conclusions; teams should test their own repositories, context sizes, failure rates, and rework time.

Another important limitation is that Qwen3.7-Max does not support some tasks, such as image generation. Qoder says that in those cases the system may use a different billable model even when the user selected Qwen3.7-Max. If the account has no credits left, the task may fail. That fallback behavior directly affects cost estimates, so a free-request count is not enough.

For individuals, the offer is a short-term way to try an agent-coding model. For teams, the useful measurement is to record the purpose, success rate, context size, and credit consumption of each request, then compare the cost of real tasks across models. The promotion terms also reserve the right to modify, end, or reclaim benefits, so the quota should not be treated as a permanent infrastructure assumption.

The Qwen3.7-Max Qoder offer shows that agent-product competition is also about making experimentation, measurement, and cost control predictable. Turning the offer into a reliable workflow still requires usage tracking, permissions, output review, and fallback monitoring.
